Is there a warranty on the new parts you install?

Your iPhone may have sensitive/personal data on it that you may not want others to see. I personally would never look at anyone’s information on their phone because first of all, I am professional and doing so is against my ethics and secondly, I really don’t care what is on your phone.

What forms of payment do you accept?

Cash or Check.  All checks should be made out to:  Long Beach iRepair.

Do you fix other devices?

Yes! I actually know how to fix most ALL touch screen phones and can replace screens on almost ANY laptop.  Just give me a call and I'll see what I can do for you!

Do you repair water damaged iPhones or iPods?

As of now, I typically will not mess with water damaged devices.  However, I will in certain situations.  If your iPhone is still recognized by the computer and/or you can receive calls on it, I can more than likely replace the part that has gone bad due to water damage.  If the device itself shows no life at all, that probably means the mother board is ruined and there's nothing more that I can do from there.

What about my iPhone content and my privacy?

Your iPhone may have sensitive/personal data on it that you may not want others to see. I personally would never look at anyone’s information on their phone because first of all, I am professional and doing so is against my ethics and secondly, I really don’t care what is on your phone.

You should also enable a password lock (in the Settings application) so it will be impossible to look at the data on the phone.

Also, the SIM card can easily be removed from the iPhone and kept with you while I repair the phone. This card contains all your contacts, text messages and carrier information (your phone number and AT&T phone plan info).

Is this a scam?

NO! Long Beach iRepair is a real, legal business.  I am a real person who has a skill that want to help people out.  I have a pictures of me replacing glass screens on various iPhones; just ask if you want to see.

How come the iPhone 4 costs twice as much to replace
as the 3G or 3GS?

The iPhone 4 has a completely different design and uses new technologies than its predecessor. Combine that with the fact that the Glass Screen and LCD are fused together now on the iPhone 4. And also, add in the fact that its a new product ----> high demand for replacement parts + very few initial suppliers of those parts = higher replacement part prices. These all factor in a much more expensive part to purchase and thus a more expensive repair.

It being twice as expensive is merely a coincidence. I actually make less money off the iPhone 4 than I do the previous models. We all suffer!

Why does the LCD screen cost the same as the Glass Screen/Digitizer?

The LCD screen costs a lot more for me to buy than the Glass Screen/Digitizer. However, I charge the same rate only because It takes about half the time and it is less risky to replace the LCD screen. The Glass Screen/Digitizer involves more steps and risks to replace correctly.

What if I messed up my iPhone while trying to fix it myself?

This unfortunately happens. I can almost always finish the job from where you left off. The only thing is though is that I can not be held responsible for anything that might not work on the phone after I complete the repair. I do not recommend trying to fix the phone yourself, it really isn't an easy procedure the first time you do it.

What if you break my iPhone?

That WILL NOT happen. However, if such a rare event were to happen, I will personally give you my own iPhone, purchase a new one, and give you the new one at no extra cost! I have never done this because I have NEVER broken an iPhone during a repair.
